This free nature center on top of Lookout Mountain in Golden is one of the top things to do in Colorado with the kids.

Wildlife displays explain the various ecosystems present throughout Colorado and a special young children's room is full of interesting activities for the little ones. Winter Hours
Tuesday - Sunday 10am - 4pm.
Closed Monday.

Summer Hours (Memorial Day Weekend through Labor Day Weekend):
Tuesday - Friday 10am - 4pm
Saturday - Sunday 9am - 5pm
Closed Monday.

Where:
Take Lookout Mountain Road until you see signs for the Nature Center. The Center is at the top of the mountain, so the road is slow and winding whether you are coming from I-70 or downtown Golden. From Golden, you can get on Lookout Mountain Road from Route 58. From I-70, take exit 256.
